Prospector Vmax VDR Sidetip

The Prospector series VDR Vmax is a 48 inch long side tip unit.These units have a 6 inch wide × 48 inch long sluice featuring a ½ inch thick T6061 aluminum VDR Vmax plate measuring 5.375 inches wide by 35.75 inches long.Sheet metal is 20 and 16 gauge stainless steel. Water inlet is 1 ½ inch male pipe thread. The added benefits of the side tip design is makes for a much easier and selective cleaning of the sluice plate. This allows you to take only the highly concentrated upper section of the sluice plate and wash it into the trough, further reducing the amount of unwanted materials to have to deal with. Field testing of these units in 2024 in the Yukon showed a recovery rate of 99.75 percent. These units can greatly reduce cleanup time while ensuring high recovery rates. Some assembly will be required on shipped orders.
